Terms & Conditions
§ 1 Service Provision
LASERREIN provides mobile laser cleaning services on the basis of written fixed-price offers. Only the services and prices stated in the offer apply. Oral side agreements have no validity.
The scope of the cleaning service results from the written fixed-price offer and the specification referenced therein. Unless otherwise agreed, the standard service includes:
- Travel to the deployment site (according to offer: 50 km, 100 km, or 150 km)
- Setup of the mobile laser system including safety zone
- Cleaning of the agreed components/molds/systems
- Parameter protocol per batch and component
- Before/after documentation (photographic)
- QA final report as PDF
§ 2 Payment Terms
Individual orders: 14 days net after invoice receipt without discount deduction. Invoicing takes place after acceptance of the service.
Maintenance contracts: annual advance invoicing at the beginning of the contract. The first annual amount is due within 14 days of contract signing.
Payment methods: Bank transfer (IBAN according to invoice). For customers outside Austria (DE, SI, HR), the same payment terms apply; currency is EUR.
Default: In case of payment default, default interest of 9.2 percentage points above the base interest rate of the OeNB p.a. is charged (§ 456 UGB — Austrian Enterprise Code). For entrepreneurs, § 1336 ABGB applies (4 percentage points).
§ 3 Warranty
We guarantee the professional execution of the cleaning in accordance with the documented parameter protocol. If defects are found that are attributable to our cleaning, we provide free rectification within 14 working days of the defect notification.
No warranty exists for:
- Damage caused by incorrect customer information about the material or contamination type
- Wear phenomena not attributable to cleaning
- Damage to components that the customer submitted for cleaning despite knowledge of unsuitability (see FAQ)
- Changes to components that were already microscopically invisibly damaged before cleaning
§ 4 Liability
Liability is limited to the order value, unless intent or gross negligence exists. The business liability insurance covers personal and property damage up to € 3 million lump sum.
Liability for slight negligence is excluded, except for personal and immaterial damage. Liability for order delays is limited to the amount of the order value.
§ 5 Safety & Customer Cooperation Obligations
The customer provides a suitable work area with power connection (400 V, 16 A or 32 A CEE plug) and ventilated space. The safety zone around the laser system (radius 2.5 m) is secured by LASERREIN.
Customer cooperation obligations:
- Provision of a responsible person on-site for QA approval
- Keeping the work area clear of unauthorized persons
- Information about known material incompatibilities (see FAQ)
- Provision of 2-3 reference images of the contamination before deployment
- During live operation: ensuring that the safety zone is not entered by production personnel
§ 6 Confidentiality
Both parties undertake to maintain confidentiality about confidential information exchanged in the course of the business relationship (in particular parameter protocols, material specifications, production data). This obligation continues for 5 years after termination of the business relationship.
§ 7 Withdrawal & Cancellation
By the customer: Cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours before the agreed deployment date. For later cancellation, 50% of the order value is charged as processing and stand-by costs.
By LASERREIN: We reserve the right to postpone deployments in case of force majeure (weather, vehicle failure, technician illness). In this case, a replacement appointment is offered within 5 working days.
§ 8 Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Jurisdiction for all disputes is Graz, Austria. For consumers within the meaning of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG), the general jurisdiction of the consumer applies.
§ 9 Consumer Dispute Resolution
We are not obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. The European ODR platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
§ 10 Changes to the Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right to change these Terms & Conditions for future orders. For contracts already concluded, the Terms & Conditions applicable at the time of contract conclusion apply. The current version is always available at www.laserrein.com/agb.html.
§ 11 Severability Clause
If individual provisions of these Terms & Conditions are or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. The invalid provision is replaced by one that comes closest to the economic purpose.
Status: July 2026 — Subject to changes upon completion of GmbH formation. These Terms & Conditions apply to the pre-booking phase until the official business start in August 2026. From business commencement, a final version with commercial register number and VAT ID will be published.
