3a. WhatsApp / Meta Platforms (Click Consent)
This website offers a direct WhatsApp contact button (wa.me link to +43 677 62665598). When you click this button, your phone number (if you are logged into your WhatsApp account) is transmitted to Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Grand Canal Dock, Dublin 2, Ireland and/or Meta Platforms Inc., Menlo Park, California, USA.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (explicit consent). You can only use the WhatsApp button after active consent in the cookie banner. Without consent, the button remains deactivated (visually dimmed, not clickable).
Data transfer to the USA: Meta transfers personal data to the USA. The lawfulness of this transfer was restricted by the "Schrems II" ruling of the CJEU (C-311/18). Meta relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), which has been in force since July 10, 2023 and provides an adequate level of protection for certified US companies. Whether the DPF is sufficient for your specific case, please check at dataprotection.ie.
What data is transmitted: Your phone number, the time of the click, possibly the pre-filled message text ("Hello LASERREIN, I am interested in your services."). Meta processes this data additionally for its own purposes (security analysis, technical provision).
Withdrawal: You can withdraw your consent at any time by unchecking "WhatsApp / Meta" in the cookie banner (Settings) or by deleting the stored consent in your browser (localStorage key: laserrein_consent).
